This happens when you've installed Domino not a client and you launch NLNOtes

You should install the Notes client separately in a different folder, different notes.ini, different notes ID etc to the server ID. You basically shouldn't do what you're doing, even though we all do it, as it's very easy to corrupt databases if you don't know what you're doing and do this whilst the server is running.
